Yoki Cheese Bread Mix 250 g – Brazilian Cheese Bread in Your Kitchen
Pão de queijo is one of the most famous Brazilian foods in the world — and for good reason. These golden balls, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with an intense cheese flavor, are absolutely addictive. With Yoki Cheese Bread Mix, you can make authentic pão de queijo from Minas Gerais at home in Europe in under 40 minutes.
Made with cassava starch (tapioca flour), cheese powder, and seasonings, the Yoki mix is gluten-free — because authentic cheese bread never uses wheat flour. Just add water and eggs, shape the balls, and bake. With Viva o Sabor, the mix reaches you with fast delivery to the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
What Is Pão de Queijo?
Pão de queijo is a small, round Brazilian bread made from cassava starch (tapioca flour), eggs, and cheese. Originating from Minas Gerais in Southeast Brazil, pão de queijo has spread across the country and become one of the most internationally recognized Brazilian foods.
Unlike European bread (made with wheat flour and yeast), pão de queijo is made with cassava starch, which gives it a chewy, elastic texture inside, while the crust stays crispy and golden. It is naturally gluten-free — one of the few traditional "doughs" that celiacs can eat without any adaptations.
In Brazil, pão de queijo is eaten for breakfast, as an afternoon snack, with coffee, and in bakeries. In Minas Gerais, offering pão de queijo with coffee is a sign of hospitality.
In Dutch: pão de queijo (pronounced: "pão djê KAY-zjo") is a Brazilian cheese roll made from cassava starch, eggs, and cheese. It is naturally gluten-free, crispy on the outside, and soft and cheesy on the inside. It is one of the most famous Brazilian dishes in the world.
In English: pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) is a small, round, gluten-free cheese roll made from cassava starch, eggs, and cheese. Crispy on the outside and soft, chewy, and cheesy on the inside — it's one of Brazil's most beloved and internationally recognized foods.

Preparation Method
- Pour the contents of the package into a bowl.
- Add 100 ml cold water and 2 medium eggs.
- Mix well until it forms a smooth dough (the dough will be soft, this is normal).
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Shape into equal-sized balls (use oiled hands to prevent sticking).
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 25 to 40 minutes, until golden on the outside.
- Serve warm, preferably with coffee or tea.
Tip: For more uniform balls, use an ice cream scoop. If you prefer, freeze the raw balls and bake them straight from the freezer whenever you like — just add ~10 minutes to the baking time.
